What’s Your Public Art Personality?
What’s Your Public Art Personality?
The City of Green is taking an exciting step forward in shaping its creative future. Together with ArtsForward and in partnership with ArtsNow, the City is developing an Arts and Culture Plan that builds upon the broader Akron/Summit County Cultural Plan—with a special focus on Placemaking and Public Art priorities.
This plan will help define how art shows up in the City of Green—on walls, in parks, at intersections, and in the everyday spaces that shape how people connect to one another and to their community. Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a local business owner, or a visitor who spends time in Green, your input will help guide this vision.
To make sure this plan truly reflects the people who live and work here, LAND Studio and the City of Green have created a short, engaging survey to capture your ideas, hopes, and personality when it comes to public art. What kinds of murals, sculptures, installations, or community spaces do you want to see? Where do you imagine creativity transforming your daily environment?
Participating isn’t just fun—it’s meaningful. In just 2–3 minutes, you can help ensure that Green’s Public Art Plan reflects the voices, values, and spirit of its residents and business owners. Every response will help shape a plan that celebrates Green’s identity, deepens connection, and makes creativity a visible part of everyday life.
Share your voice. Take the survey today and help define the creative character of Green’s future.
